Hot Wine of the Week: White – Blufeld Rielsing Regularly $9.99 – Now $8.99 through October 13
This is a Riesling that is not sticky, icky sweet but what I like to call a clean sweet meaning the sweetness comes from the fruit and not added sugar. It is a crisp wine with refreshing aromas of citrus, peach and floral notes.
Peter Lehmann Semillon 2008

Semillon is the “Must Have” wine in the fridge! A delicious aperitif, and is a perfect accompaniment to smoked salmon, fresh asparagus, Caesar salad, creamy soups and pasta dishes.
Winemaker’s Notes:
“The colour is a delightful pale yellow with green tints. On the nose it has fresh aromas of lemon flower, a touch of honey and undertones of bees’ wax, characteristic of Semillon. The palate is very clean with bright lemon/citrus flavours, and shows an attractive creamy soft mouth feel, and finishes long with an attractive zesty acidity.”
Regularly $10.99.
On sale now through September 5th for just $8.99!

“Medrano Estate:
Our vineyards are located at the edge of the foothills, in the Andes Mountains, which well-drained, stony soils topped by a light clayey layer. The grapes were carefully hand picked form mature vines.”
